No. 1 Dutchman won a career-high 30 matches and finished year-end best No. 43. He earned 76 match wins in the past three years (compared to 37 wins from 2006-10).
Open de La Reunion (Reunion Island): Top seed Robin Haase took full advantage of his week in paradise in the Indian Ocean, rallying past Florent Serra 3-6, 6-1, 7-5 in the Reunion Island final. It was the Dutchman's first title in more than four years, after posting an 8-0 record in Challenger finals from 2006-10. Haase, who finished his 2014 tour-level campaign with an 18-23 mark, is a two-time ATP World Tour champion in Kitzbuhel (2011-12) and former World No. 33. The 33-year-old Serra, meanwhile, rose 114 spots to No. 341, having reached his first final in five years.
Open du Pays d'Aix (Aix-en-Provence, France): Robin Haase (pictured right, photo credit: Aucepika Photographe) moved to a season-high No. 78 in the Emirates ATP Rankings after the Dutchman defeated Paul-Henri Mathieu 7-6(1), 6-2 for the Aix-en-Provence title. Haase improved to 10-2 in finals on the ATP Challenger Tour, prevailing in his first meeting against Mathieu since 2010 Swiss Indoors Basel qualifying. The 28 year old also captured the doubles title alongside Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi.
Arimex Challenger Open (Trnava, Slovakia): Robin Haase extended his dominant run in finals on the ATP Challenger Tour, improving to 11-2 with a convincing 62-minute 6-4, 6-1 win over Horacio Zeballos in Trnava. The Dutchman was awarded the crystal champion’s trophy – his second title of the year. He previously won on the clay of Aix-en-Provence, France (d. Mathieu). Haase returns to the Top 60 of the Emirates ATP Rankings for the first time since July 2014, rising to World No. 59. Zeballos, meanwhile, fell to 13-9 in finals.

Wypowiedź po finale:
Haase: “Last year, I arrived directly from Davis Cup, where I fell. I played here injured. Despite this, I tried to play the matches, but I was eliminated in the second round. That time, I told Dominik Hrbaty, I want to come back next year and play better. I won and that is fantastic.
“Zeballos was the most dangerous opponent I played against here in Trnava. Generally I have positive head-to-head against lefties like him. I can cope with their game. I improved match by match in Trnava. I also played a difficult first round and then tough matches against Montanes and Melzer.”
The Hague Open (Scheveningen, Netherlands): Fourth seed Robin Haase delighted the home crowd in winning his 12th career ATP Challenger Tour title by defeating seventh seed Adam Pavlasek of the Czech Republic, 6-4, 6-7(9), 6-2. Haase became the first Dutch winner of the tournament since Jesse Huta Galung in 2003 and the eighth overall in the tournament’s 24-year history. Pavlasek was aiming for his second ATP Challenger Tour title of the year, having prevailed in June in Prague.

Haase Right At Home In Alphen
Spoiler:
The Dutch star finishes with another final at the ATP Challenger Tour event in Alphen
Robin Haase has become a familiar face on the final Sunday of tournaments this summer and his run at this week’s $50,000 ATP Challenger Tour event in Alphen was no exception.
The 29 year old finished as runner-up in July at the J. Safara Sarasin Swiss Open and then followed up that result by winning the ATP Challenger Tour event in Scheveningen. This week, he came in as the top seed in Alphen and again played some of his best tennis on home soil, advancing to the final without dropping a set.
Although he lost the championship match to Jan-Lennard Struff of Germany, Haase still viewed the week in Alphen as a positive experience.
“Tennis is such a tough sport and there are now more competitors on tour than ever, which makes it tough to do well in Challengers. But for me, this is an opportunity to play in the Netherlands more often and also to help promote Dutch tennis,” said Haase. “Because of the Challengers in Scheveningen and Alphen, top Dutch players get a chance to play in the Netherlands more often and I think that’s a good thing."
Haase was making his third appearance in Alphen, but this was his best result at the tournament by far. He attributed the improvements to the facilities over the years as part of the reason why he was able to play some of his best tennis this week.
"I really like being here and the tournament keeps getting better every year. It’s great when you see how the Centre Court has developed over the years with things like the terrace,” he said. “It's very nice here and the atmosphere is great, which makes this a great tournament to play at."
Although some players struggle playing at home, Haase has thrived in the Netherlands. In addition to winning in Scheveningen, he also reached the semi-finals last year at the Ricoh Open.
“I’ve got friends and family that like to come and watch me play, so I want to play well for them and show that I’m continuing to make progress,” said Haase. “You spend a lot of time in hotel rooms throughout the years and you're alone a lot of the time, so it’s nice to be able to see everyone and sleep in your own bed once in a while.”
Sibiu Open (Sibiu, Romania): Robin Haase claimed his 13th ATP Challenger Tour title on Sunday in Sibiu, downing Italy's Lorenzo Giustino 7-6(2), 6-2. Top seed and World No. 65 Haase did not face a seeded opponent all week in notching his second victory of the season. Also the champion on home soil in Scheveningen, he is the 25th player to win multiple titles this year.
