Re: Alexander Zverev
Pierwszy triumf wielkoszlemowy!
Droga do finału:
R1 Nino Serdarusić (CRO) 63 64
R2 [Q] Ryotaro Matsumara (JAP) 46 62 97
R3 [15] Marcelo Zormann Da Silva (BRA) 6-2 6-3

SF Bradley Mousley (Aus) 64 16 61

Re: Alexander Zverev
Stąd też stagnacja w indywidualnym rankingu i pomimo upływu czasu okupowanie miejsca w 7. setce ATP.
Re: Alexander Zverev
Pierwszy challenger dla Zvereva!
Ledwie 17-letni Zverev zgarnął najpoważniejszy seniorski skalp w karierze - w turnieju w Braunschweig pokonał w finale Paula-Henri Mathieu w trzech setach.

Cóż, pewnie wyniósł to z domu.

Teraz Stuttgart (nie liczę na wiele, pewnie dostanie szybkie baty po Brunszwiku) i Hamburg (tutaj mógłby szczęśliwie polosować, bo każdy wygrany mecz to pokaźny zastrzyk punktów).

“I doubt about myself, I think the doubts are good in life. The people who don’t have doubts I think only two things: arrogance or not intelligence.”- Rafa Nadal
"There are other tournaments in which I would like to win. However, in the end, trophies are just pieces of metal. The main thing that I took from tennis is love. She will remain with me forever, and I am sincerely grateful for this “ - David Ferrer

Zverev's Historic Win
http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Tennis ... eiber.aspxGerman wild card Alexander Zverev, aged 17 years and four months, knocked out fifth seed Mikhail Youzhny, 7-5, 7-5 in two hours’ mid-afternoon for a third-round clash against No. 11 seed Santiago Giraldo. Zverev’s win marks the first time a 17 year old has defeated a Top 20 opponent on the ATP World Tour since Richard Gasquet (17) beat No. 11 Nicolas Massu in the Portugal Open first round in April 2004.
"I can't explain my emotions right now," Zverev told ATPWorldTour.com. "I don't know if I am dreaming. I am really happy with the way I am playing and I am really happy to have won against a player who has been in the Top 10. One or two points mattered in both sets. I played some great points at the right moments." Zverev practised with Giraldo ahead of the tournament.
