ATP Eastbourne: czekał na to całe życie. Mischa Zverev z pierwszym mistrzostwem w karierze

Jurek - ??? - oby wrócił. Michał - odpuścił. O reszcie nie wspomnę - przez grzeczność.

Djokovic Soars Into Nitto ATP Finals Contention
Spoiler:
ATPWorldTour.com looks at how the ATP Race To London is shaping up
After the third Grand Slam of the season, the group of contenders in the ATP Race To London is becoming clearer, with Wimbledon finalists Novak Djokovic and Kevin Anderson putting themselves in good position to earn a spot at The O2 in London from 11-18 November.
Five-time Nitto ATP Finals champion Djokovic has found some of his best form, claiming his fourth title at the All England Club on Sunday to soar into fifth place in the Race with 3,355 points.
The Serbian began his season with a 6-6 record, and sat in 75th place in the Race just two months ago. But thanks to a hot streak during which he has triumphed in 19 of his past 22 matches, Djokovic has added 3,020 points, making up 90 per cent of his total.
View Latest ATP Race To London
Only one player has tallied more points than Djokovic during those two months, and that’s Race leader Rafael Nadal, who is in first place with 5,760 points. The Spaniard, who recently captured his 11th Roland Garros trophy, reached the semi-finals at the All England Club for the first time since 2011, gaining a 1,740-point lead over second-placed Roger Federer.
Federer is still in great position to qualify for the season finale for the 16th time in 17 years. The Swiss advanced to the Wimbledon quarter-finals for the 16th time, earning 720 points.
Anderson also solidified his standing in the hopes of booking his spot at The O2 for the first time. While the South African dropped one spot to eighth with 2,820 points due to Djokovic’s 10-spot climb, Anderson is now 600 points clear of ninth-placed John Isner, who also seeks his first Nitto ATP Finals berth.
Before The Championships, there were 13 players within 585 points of Anderson, who was then in seventh. Last season, when the 6’8” right-hander reached the US Open final, Anderson finished 14th in the Race with 2,480 points. Jack Sock, the final qualifier, earned 2,765 points.
While Alexander Zverev was upset in the third round on the hallowed grass, he remains third with 3,585 points. The German is 205 points ahead of Juan Martin del Potro (3,380 points), who hopes to make an appearance at the season finale for the first time since 2013. The Argentine lost against Nadal in the Wimbledon quarter-finals in five sets.
Austrian Dominic Thiem is in sixth with 2,995 points and Croatian Marin Cilic is in seventh with 2,915 points.
Miami Open presented by Itau titlist Isner, who advanced to the semi-finals at SW19 — losing 26-24 in the fifth set against Anderson — dropped one spot to ninth, but is 610 points ahead of his nearest competition, Kei Nishikori.

Anderson Cracks Top 5, Reaches Another New Career-High
Spoiler:
No. 5 Kevin Anderson, +3
On the back of his maiden Wimbledon final, the 32-year-old South African cracks the Top 5 for the first time and celebrates a new career-high ATP Ranking. Anderson's Top 5 debut also continues his steady climb up the ATP Rankings.
Before 2018, the 6'8” right-hander had spent exactly one week in the Top 10 – 12 October 2015, just after advancing to his maiden Grand Slam quarter-final at the US Open. But this season, Anderson re-joined the Top 10 on 19 February and has made himself at home there.

No. 8 John Isner, +2
At last, Isner has reached No. 8 in the ATP Rankings. The top-ranked American had hit No. 9 on three different occasions: April 2012, April 2014 and April 2018. But he had always stayed there or fallen backward. Until now, thanks to his maiden Grand Slam semi-final run at Wimbledon (l. to Anderson).
Isner saved two match points against Belgian Ruben Bemelmans in the second round and beat 2016 finalist Milos Raonic to advance to only his second Grand Slam quarter-final (2011 US Open, l. to Murray). The 33-year-old Isner will look to hike even further up the ATP Rankings during the North American hard-court swing, which has traditionally been a successful time for the former University of Georgia Bulldog.

No. 10 Novak Djokovic, +11
His ATP Ranking still has one too many digits for his most passionate fans, but Djokovic's return to the Top 10 is a vast improvement for the Serbian, who won his fourth Wimbledon title and 13th Grand Slam crown on Sunday. He will only keep climbing from here as well.
The former World No. 1 didn't play another tournament last year after Wimbledon because of his right elbow injury, so he can only add ATP Rankings points for the remainder of the season.
No. 20 Kei Nishikori, +8
Nishikori, similar to Djokovic, continues to show some of his best form after missing time last year because of injury (right wrist). The Japanese star beat Aussie Nick Kyrgios in the third round and Latvian Ernests Gulbis to make his first Wimbledon quarter-final (l. to Djokovic).
Nishikori, also like Djokovic, should only climb for the rest of 2018. The right-hander played only two events after Wimbledon last year, making the Citi Open semi-finals and the second round of the Coupe Rogers in Montreal.
No. 45 Frances Tiafoe, +7
The #NextGenATP American would have preferred a different final match at Wimbledon – Tiafoe was leading Russian Karen Khachanov two sets to zero but lost in the third round 4-6, 4-6, 7-6(3), 6-2, 6-1. But the 20-year-old Tiafoe still reached his first third round at a Grand Slam and achieved another career-high in the ATP Rankings.
Tiafoe also solidified his place in the ATP Race To Milan. He remains in fourth place with 828 points, 123 ahead of #NextGenATP Aussie Alex de Minaur. The top seven players in the ATP Race To Milan will qualify automatically for the Next Gen ATP Finals, to be held 6-10 November in Milan, while the eighth spot will be reserved for the winner of an all-Italian qualifier tournament. To be eligible, players must have been born in 1997 or later.
Trochę zmian nas jutro czeka na listach rankingowych.
Najwyższy ranking w karierze osiągną m.in.: Cecchinato, Tiafoe, Marterer, Millman, Norrie i McDonald, natomiast z TOP50 wypadnie David Ferrer.

Having entered the J. Safra Sarasin Swiss Open Gstaad without a tour-level quarter-final appearance to his name, Berrettini stunned the field in Switzerland to lift his maiden ATP World Tour title. The 22-year-old defeated three seeded players in five rounds to emerge victorious, including second seed Roberto Bautista Agut in the final. The Italian held all 49 service games he played throughout the tournament and jumps 30 positions to a career-high No. 54 in the ATP Rankings. Read More & Watch Highlights

A i finał może Niemcowi nie wystarczyć do utrzymania pozycji. Zresztą tydzień później broni dwa razy więcej punktów, może spaść nawet na 6. miejsce, jeśli nie zacznie znowu grać, jak człowiek.

Dellien First Bolivian To Crack Top 100 In 34 Years
Spoiler:
Hugo Dellien makes historic ATP Rankings breakthrough
There are achievements that can redefine the sporting landscape in a country. For small, developing nations, a breakthrough can inspire millions and signal a shift in its sporting culture. Hugo Dellien hopes that this is that moment for his native Bolivia.
On Monday, the 25-year-old made a historic Top 100 debut in the ATP Rankings, becoming just the second Bolivian to reach the milestone. Exactly 34 years after Mario Martinez first put the nation on the tennis map, Dellien followed in his countryman's footsteps.
In that span, nine of the 12 South American countries have had a representative in the Top 100. Add Bolivia to the list. Dellien ascended to a career-high No. 100 after reaching the semi-finals of the ATP Challenger Tour event in Tampere, Finland last week.

"The truth is that I'm really happy and very emotional," said Dellien. "I had surgery last year in November and I never expected 2018 to go this well. I played in my first Grand Slam qualifying at Roland Garros, won my first Challenger title and now I am in the Top 100. It's a dream. It's the dream of all the players who start playing tennis. I never expected this, but I'm very grateful for everyone who helped me get here."

With a population of more than 10 million, Bolivia has a diverse culture rich in cuisine, art, music and dance, with strong influences from its indigenous people. But the nation remains in search of a sporting icon; someone to put the country on the map on a global scale. Now, it has a tennis champion to celebrate.
"In the past year, tennis in Bolivia has grown a lot already," Dellien added. "It's been 34 years since we had someone in the Top 100. I hope that the people see this and the game continues to grow in my country."
The 5'10" Dellien may be diminutive in size, but he packs a powerful punch on the court. In April, he joined Martinez as the only Bolivians to claim an ATP Challenger Tour title with his victory in Sarasota. Two weeks later, he added a second crown in Savannah and has since notched a third on the red clay of Vicenza, Italy. Not only is Dellien the title leader on the Challenger circuit this year, he also owns 30 match wins (second-most on tour).
"It's been a mental change for me this year, but also I changed my coach and we've been working on my backhand. I'm more solid on that side. And I have more confidence hitting my forehand too. Everything is better."
