No. 27 (Career High) Marco Cecchinato, +45
The Italian, who was at No. 107 on 5 March this year, continues his dramatic rise to a career-high No. 27, after a 45-position rise with his first appearance in a Grand Slam championship semi-final in Paris, losing to Dominic Thiem. The 25-year-old beat David Goffin and 2016 champion Novak Djokovic. He captured his first ATP World Tour title as a lucky loser at the Gazprom Hungarian Open (d. Millman) on 29 April, which resulted in a 33-place rise from No. 92 to No. 59.
No. 50 (Career High) Maximilian Marterer, +20
The 22-year-old German, competing in just his third major championship, advanced to the fourth round (l. to Nadal) on his Roland Garros debut by beating Ryan Harrison, Denis Shapovalov and Jurgen Zopp. One month on from reaching the BMW Open by FWU Open semi-finals (l. to Kohlschreiber), Marterer moved up 20 places to a career-high No. 50.

Federer jak zrobi finał w Stuttgarcie to ponownie zmieni Rafę na pozycji lidera, wydaje się, że jeszcze minimum dwie roszady przed nami.

No to kolejna rotacja na jedynce przed nami.

ATP Rankings Movers: Roger Returns To No. 1
Spoiler:
ATPWorldTour.com looks at the top Movers of the Week in the ATP Rankings, as of Monday, 18 June 2018
Six months into the 2018 ATP World Tour season and No. 1 in the ATP Rankings has changed on five occasions. Rafael Nadal began the year in the top spot – and has held the position for 17 weeks, over three stints in 2018 – with Roger Federer gained No. 1 for six weeks from 19 February and one week from 14 May. The Swiss wrestled No. 1 back today.
The five changes at No. 1 this season are the most since 2003, when there were also five. The all-time record for most changes is 10, which happened in 1983, when John McEnroe, Jimmy Connors and Ivan Lendl battled for the top spot.
No. 1 Roger Federer, +1
The 36-year-old is back at No. 1 in the ATP Rankings for a 310th week, which extends his own record, after capturing the 98th tour-level title of his career over Milos Raonic in the MercedesCup final. Today marks the sixth occasion he has risen to No. 1, having first attained the ranking on 2 February 2004. Federer guaranteed his return to the summit of men’s professional tennis on 15 June with a hard-fought 6-7(2), 6-2, 7-6(5) victory over Nick Kyrgios in the Stuttgart semi-finals. The Swiss has also won two other titles this season at the Australian Open (d. Cilic) and the ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament (d. Dimitrov).

No. 25 Richard Gasquet, +5
The talented Frenchman has returned to his highest ranking since 29 May 2017 (No. 25) with a five-place rise to No. 25 following a title run at the Libema Open. The 31-year-old beat compatriot Jeremy Chardy in the final for his 15th ATP World Tour crown (15-15), and his first since October 2016 at the European Open (d. Schwartzman). Gasquet also finished runner-up in February at the Open Sud de France (l. to Pouille).

No. 61 Jeremy Chardy, +11
The 31-year-old extended his grass-court form, which includes his sixth ATP Challenger Tour trophy at the Surbiton Trophy (d. de Minaur), with a run to the Libema Open title match (l. to Gasquet). Chardy, who was a career-high No. 25 on 28 January 2013, moved up 11 positions to No. 61, his highest ranking since 29 August 2016 (No. 55). The Frenchman has a 1-2 record in ATP World Tour finals and his run on Dutch grass, was his first tour-level championship match since Stuttgart in 2009.
No. 78 Alex de Minaur, +18
The Australian, who began the year at No. 208 in the ATP Rankings is now at a career-high No. 78. Over the past three weeks, the 19-year-old Australian has moved up from No. 105 after two ATP Challenger Tour final appearances in Surbiton and his first crown at the Nature Valley Open in Nottingham (d. Evans). De Minaur is also in the hunt to qualify for the Next Gen ATP Finals in November at No. 5 in the ATP Race To Milan.

ATP Rankings Movers: Nadal Bounces Back To No. 1
Spoiler:
The close nature at the top of the ATP Rankings in 2018 is such that Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer have traded the No. 1 position on six occasions in the first six months of the season. The all-time record for most changes in the top spot is 10 in 1983. Today, Nadal is back at the summit of men's professional tennis.
No. 1 Rafael Nadal, +1
The 32-year-old Spaniard returns to No. 1 after Federer lost in the final of the Gerry Weber Open. In the week beginning 18 June, Federer, with 8,920 points (to Nadal’s 8,770), had been attempting to defend 500 ATP Rankings - as a result of winning his ninth Halle title in 2017 - but he earned 300 points. Nadal now leads Federer by just 50 points (8,770 to 8,720 points) in this week’s standings and will hold onto the top spot until at least 16 July.
Nadal, the winner of four clay-court trophies this year, began the year in the top spot, and today starts the 178th week of his career at No. 1. He has now held No. 1 for a total of 18 weeks, over four stints in 2018. Federer gained No. 1 for six weeks from 19 February, one week from 14 May and last week.

No. 17 Novak Djokovic, +5
The Serbian, who spent the last of his 223 weeks at No. 1 in the week of 6 November 2016, is on the rise once more, up to No. 17 — a five-spot promotion — after he reached the Fever-Tree Championships final. The 31-year-old was unable to convert one championship point against Marin Cilic and lift the 69th tour-level trophy of his career on Sunday in his first final since 1 July 2017 at the Nature Valley International. Djokovic, who missed six months of last season due to a right elbow injury, did become only the 10th player in the Open Era (since April 1968) to record 800 match wins on Friday with victory over Adrian Mannarino in the quarter-finals at The Queen’s Club.
No. 21 (Career High) Borna Coric, +13
The 21-year-old Croatian beat Alexander Zverev en route to a 7-6(6), 3-6, 6-2 final victory over Federer at the Gerry Weber Open. It guaranteed Coric a 13-spot rise to a career-high No. 21. It is his biggest single jump since moving from No. 49 to No. 36 on 19 March 2018, after he reached his first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 semi-final at the BNP Paribas Open (l. to Federer 5-7, 6-4, 6-4). Coric won his first ATP World Tour trophy in April 2017 at the Grand Prix Hassan II (d. Kohlschreiber).

No. 46 Jeremy Chardy, +15
The 31-year-old appears in the Mover of the Week story for the third straight week after another fine week on grass courts. On the back of a sixth ATP Challenger Tour trophy at the Surbiton Trophy (d. de Minaur) and a run to the Libema Open title match (l. to Gasquet), the Frenchman moved into the Fever-Tree Championships semi-finals (l. to Djokovic) last week. Chardy, who was a career-high No. 25 on 28 January 2013, has today moved up 15 positions to No. 46, his highest ranking since 8 August 2016 (No. 39). Just three weeks ago, he was at No. 86.

No. 51 (Career High) Matthew Ebden, +9
No. 52 (Career High) Frances Tiafoe, +10
No. 76 Nikoloz Basilashvili, +9
No. 83 Denis Kudla, +26
Przypominam kronikarsko - jeżeli Fed wygra Wimbledon, Rafa będzie potrzebował 4. rundy do utrzymania lidera. Porażka Szwajcara w Londynie gwarantuje Hiszpanowi pozostanie na szczycie be względu na jego wynik własny przy SW19.
