World No. 116 Ricardas Berankis recorded his first Top 10 win Thursday at the Kremlin Cup by Bank of Moscow as he upset Barclays ATP World Tour Finals hopeful Milos Raonic 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 in the second round.
"I'm really happy about the win. To beat a Top 10 player and the No. 1 seed in the tournament is a great feeling and it gives me a lot of confidence,” said Berankis. “I’m looking forward to the quarter-finals."

Berankis: "I am very happy with the win. Although it came from my opponent's injury, the success is a nice touch to a week played a high level. I could not close the season any better. The win allows me to come back to the Top 100 and gives me positive feelings for the next season."

Top seed Ricardas Berankis went back-to-back in Asia, claiming the clay-court Nanjing title 6-3, 6-4 over Grega Zemlja one week after also downing the Slovenian for the crown on the hard courts of Gwangju, South Korea. It was the Lithuanian's sixth ATP Challenger Tour title in total. He improved to an impressive 14-2 on the circuit this year, joining Gerald Melzer, Mikhail Youzhny, Facundo Bagnis and Malek Jaziri as the lone multiple title winners.
